Basalt Summer Concert Series

Looking for information on Wednesday Night Live? Click here.

A long-standing Basalt tradition, the Basalt Chamber of Commerce’s Summer Concert Series has been showcasing a wide variety of musical genres with performances across town for over a decade.

Concerts are held during the summer on eight Wednesday evenings, from 6–8 p.m., in either Triangle Park and in Lions Park. Bring your blanket and picnic baskets and enjoy free live music all summer long. Be sure to support our area businesses by stopping in for dinner or happy hour.

2020 Update

The Basalt Chamber of Commerce’s Summer Concert Series will be postponed this year out of an abundance of caution for the health and safety of our locals, visitors and performers. With the possibility of some level of social distancing likely being in place during Summer 2020, the Chamber felt that it would be difficult to provide the same quality concert experience while abiding by public health orders. These are truly challenging and unprecedented times, and this decision was not made lightly.

We know that our Wednesday concerts are a tradition, and an evening that our community looks forward to every summer.

The Chamber is currently working with the Town of Basalt and our summer concert series production partners TACAW on an alternative – a series of smaller, spread out community gatherings, celebrating all that makes Basalt and the midvalley special. Stay tuned and keep those Wednesday nights free!

Food & Beverage

The concert series is the perfect chance to dine al fresco while listening to live music. Close to each venue are several local restaurants and bars, so we encourage you to dine-in on the patios, or if you prefer, get dinner to go and have a picnic on the grass. Water will be at every concert. Additional food options will be available during the concerts at Lions Park. NOTE: These are family-friendly, alcohol-free events

Parking

As these are popular community events, parking can be limited. It is highly recommended that concertgoers take advantage of walking, biking (including using WE-cycle), using public transit (RFTA) as well as area Park and Rides lots for a more positive experience.
