A long-standing Basalt tradition, the Basalt Chamber of Commerce’s Summer Concert Series has been showcasing a wide variety of musical genres with performances across town for over a decade.
Beginning June 19, 2019, concerts will be held on Wednesdays evenings from 6–8 p.m. in Triangle Park and in Lions Park, with the exception of a special street dance which will be held on Friday, July 12 on Market Street. Bring your blanket and picnic baskets and enjoy free live music all summer long.

About the venues
Triangle Park – Located on East Valley road in the Willits area of Basalt, across from Alpine Bank.
Market Street – Located in the Willits area of Basalt, near Element Aspen-Basalt and Capitol Creek Brewery.
Lions Park – Located next to Town Hall on Midland Spur in Historic Downtown Basalt.
Food & Beverage
The concert series is the perfect chance to dine al fresco while listening to live music. Close to each venue are several local restaurants and bars, so we encourage you to dine-in on the patios, or if you prefer, get dinner to go and have a picnic on the grass. NOTE: Basalt does not have an open container law so please do not bring any outside alcohol to the concerts. Additional food options will be available during the concerts at Lions Park, and for the big Starwood reunion on August 14, alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the Chamber’s cantina.
As these are popular community events, parking can be limited. It is highly recommended that concertgoers take advantage of walking, biking (including using WE-cycle), using public transit (RFTA) as well as area Park and Rides lots for a more positive experience.
