Many, many moons ago, every October our Executive Director’s neighborhood would participate in “Booing”. This game can be best described as ding, dong ditch, but with treats, or more simply, as reverse anonymous trick o’ treating. It was a great way to get to know your neighbors, and see everyone get into the Halloween holiday spirit. This game is a twist on the original, but focused on Chamber members, and more broadly than one neighborhood.
How to Play
So you’ve been “Booed” – Here is what comes next:
- Place your “We’ve been Booed” on your office front door or window.
- Within two days, make two copies of these instructions and the “We’ve been Booed” sign and gather two small treats (if they are local treats, even better!). A PDF is available here: Booing_October2018 [PDF]
- Deliver the treats and the instructions to two other Basalt Chamber members. The Chamber’s website has a directory listing all chamber members. Use this as an opportunity to say “hi” and to get to know your fellow Chamber members. In the original version, it is done anonymously, but we will leave that up to you!
